I’m Kyle, the proud owner of Baird Built Ltd, and my journey into the world of building began long before I ever picked up a hammer. As a child, I was captivated by the magic of creation, inspired by watching my parents’ garage being built. By the age of 13, I had roped my friends into constructing a hobbit hole complete with a fireplace—an early sign of my passion for making things. 

In 2008, I began my career by securing an apprenticeship in luxury home building in the stunning Coromandel region. By 2012, I had completed my training and was ready to take on the challenges of leading complex projects. My dedication to and love for the craft propelled me forward, and I quickly rose through the ranks, earning accolades, including a finalist for Apprentice of the Year in Auckland and a Gold Award for a renovation project over $500,000.
